Rose Otto is one of my favourite things. It’s such a high quality ingredient, in fact I have centred the latest release of the Mary Grace Skincare line around it, and I absolutely adore it in the products I use on a daily basis, so when Canvas Beauty sent me a pack of their Rose Otto Multi-Intensive Hydra Essence Mask, I was all over it.
Canvas Beauty have a myriad of amazing skincare products, all for babes with skin issues just like mine. If you’re sensitive, or simply like high quality product, this is the range for you!
The Product: Rose Otto Multi-Intensive HydraEssence Mask provides immediate relief and sustained hydration. Marshmallow extract and Comfrey extract help replace lost moisture and reduce dry patches. Amino Acids and Calendula extract soothe, hydrate and assist with skin regeneration. This cotton sheet mask supports essence penetration and locks in moisture. The skin looks noticeably illuminated, plumped and ready for daily regimen.
Key Ingredients:
- Rose Otto Essential Oil – for moisturising, firming and toning the skin, while improving the skin texture.
- Calendula – promote skin healing and repair, while also significantly reduces inflammations.
- Soybean Oil – It helps softening and smoothing the skin while protecting the skin from environmental damages.
The Packaging: The whole range has a gorgeous array of watercolour elements over neutral bases. The masks come individually packaged in a gorgeous outer box and the whole thing is just so damn luxe, I love it! Whether you’re buying it as a gift or as a special treat for yourself, the recipient will feel like they’re worth a million bucks!
The Price: At $59.00 for a pack of 5, I’m not going to lie, they are a little on the expensive side- however, it’s because of the quality of the ingredients. I would happily save up and pay a little more for something that I know is going to be great for my skin, then go for something cheaper full of chemicals.
Any Cons? I think if they were sold individually as well as the pack of 5 option, it would be a great alternative to those who couldn’t outlay $60 at once for a mask, having said that I know it most likely works out cheaper by doing so.
The mask itself is a little on the oily side, given the base ingredients. This isn’t a con as such, just something to make note of if your skin doesn’t like higher oil content as much. I suggest using it at night, instead of in the morning which would help to combat that.
Overall, this product is stunning inside and out! They have my seal of approval. You can shop this product, along with the entire Canvas Beauty collection Here.
