About a month ago, I was lucky enough to be sent a few incredible products in the Kristen Ess Hair product line. Now, I’m normally quite hesitant in trying new things in my hair. I’m extremely sensitive to… basically everything. In fact, one could argue that I’m allergic to life. My hair is as sensitive as my skin and finding a shampoo/conditioner combo that actually agrees with me has been an uphill battle for as long as I’ve known what good hair really means.
Needless to say, I was worried about trying this shampoo lest it let me down like everything else has. I cannot tell you how many products I’ve tried boasting that they’re nasty-chemical-free, boasting that they’ll leave me with a glass-like-shine or incredible salon finish locks and I’ve always been severely disappointed, and often had to re-wash with my previous ol’ reliable and even then, the ol’ reliable ain’t quite so. I’ve always had to deal with something in order to not have to deal with something else. I.E horrible cracking of the scalp in order to not have to deal with a gross, oily finish even though I’ve just washed it.
Well, after a little convincing, I tried the Kristen Ess Signature Shampoo and Conditioner and all I can say is… holy cannoli, I’m converted. For the first time in my life, the product does what it says it’ll do. It’s like my dream man, in hair product format. Kristen Ess Hair is a natural product, boasting zip up technology (to seal your locks and those nasty split ends] in all of her product ranges, with easy to read labelling and super sleek packaging that I’m still fan-girling over a month later. Not to mention the fact that my hair now loves and adores me for how well I’m treating it!
I love this product so much that I went and bought almost everything in the range available to me for my specific hair type. The best part? It’s so damn affordable! Given that I used to spent roughly $40 – $80 per product for my shampoo/conditioner/leave in spray, it’s safe to say that I’d rack up more dollar bills on my hair than anything else in my life per month. Kristen Ess is averaging $20 per product, that’s right… that’s half of what I’m currently spending on my hair.
Good lord!
Currently, the products are only available at your local Priceline Store or via Priceline Online but in my opinion. You can find the range here.
