Hello my darlings! It’s been a hot minute since I logged on and whipped up a post for you! I came down with something last week and I’ve been struggling to get onto my computer ever since, but we’re here now so it’s all good in the hood.
Tonight we’re looking at this incredible new product from Strandatory. It’s a dry shampoo but not like any I’ve seen before!
The Product: Tired of greasy hair and bad hair days stealing your mojo, leaving you feeling down? Strandatory’s Natural Dry Shampoo gives your hair the oomph you love in minutes. Now you can skip hair day and still look and feel gorgeous!
The coloured powder perfectly matches most hair tones & applies so smoothly, I didn’t think it was working at first! It’s not your standard Dry Shampoo, it works like a volumiser as well. The shampoo applies to hide the oils developing in your hair but leaves a slightly stiff residue that allows you to plump the roots up to build back that volume you use on hair desperately needing a wash.
The size is smaller than most, which leaves me preferring it for travel. I use Dry Shampoo every second morning [as I wash my hair every other day] and because mine is so long and thick, I really need the spray can style to get through it all in a timely manner – however, this little pot is the most perfect size for a handbag and the lid comes with a high quality and incredibly handy mirror that I can use to top up during the day!
The fact that it’s completely natural is a huge bonus for me.
Key Ingredients:
- Bentonite Clay
- Tapioca Starch
- Ghassoul Clay
- Mediterranean Clay
- Colloidal Oatmeal
- Amorphous Silica
- Corn Starch
- Essential Oils
The Packaging: The packaging is a crisp white and green, which suits the natural theme of this product. I love, love, love their logo! It reminds me of Medusa [in a good way] and I do love Greek Mythology. The pots are a sleek black acrylic with a clear base so you can see how much product is left and the lids have mirrors on them which, if you ask me, is truly incredible.
The Price: At $34.95, it’s a little pricey for the size. Having said that, you’d get a lot of use out of the product, it’s not your standard high consumption item and for the quality of the ingredients, I wouldn’t expect to pay any less.
Any Cons? I do wish there was a larger option/spray option but I still like the product!
